To kick off the school year, our high school students spent two days between Camp Caroline and ACS participating in a variety of team building activities.   While at Camp Caroline, students completed a ropes course, planted a garden, participated in a kayak race, and competed in pickleball.  Students finished their day by writing down past stresses or bad habits and casting them into the fire as a commitment to let those things go and start the year fresh.  During their time spent at ACS, students set goals for their future and wrote a short narrative about what it will take to achieve those goals.  The two days were enjoyed by both students and teachers alike.  We expect this to become an ACS tradition! Special thanks to  all the volunteers and staff at Camp Caroline for making this happen and a big shout out to the cafeteria staff for the taco and salad bar.  It was delicious!
