Kindergarten Learns About Fire Safety
Posted on 10/15/2016
Fire SafetyKindergarten ended its unit on fire safety by visiting the Arapahoe Fire Station. Volunteer firefighter Jeremy Lee talked with students about the important jobs of a firefighter, the uses of fire trucks and their tools, how to call 9-1-1 for an emergency, and how to develop a fire safety plan for their homes. EMT T.W. Harris also brought an ambulance and talked with the students about the important jobs of an EMT worker and when to call 9-1-1 for an emergency.  He also invited the students to sit inside and walk around the ambulance.
