The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone age 6 months and older be vaccinated.

Children should be vaccinated yearly when the vaccine becomes available, usually in October.

Adolescents and young adults are at an increased risk for this dangerous disease.

There are more than 100 types of HPV,some of which are known to cause cancer.
