Roof Rescue Aid PackagesMiddle school students, in the Engineering Exploratory class, test their final package designs on Monday, January 11th.  This was the final challenge after 4 phases of testing and design. Students designed a rescue package filled with both fragile, soft and hard items which had to be floated down from an airplane as slowly as possible to minimize damage to the contents.  They tested a variety of wing designs and packing materials to come up with their final design.  For extra credit they were also able to test their skills in a traditional egg drop contest.  A few eggs got broken, but a fun time was had by all.  Special thanks to Mr. Murphy and Mr. Watson for climbing to the roof and being our pilots for the rescue mission to Haiti!
