This is the image for the news article titled When Clay SingsAfter researching the Anasazi Native American Indians in the Southwest United States, students in Mrs. Vogt's Enrichment Class created their own pictograph pottery.  This pottery contained symbols of important people and events in their lives.  These students in Mrs. Nunley's third grade class took their classmates on an "archeological dig" for handmade artifacts! Students unearthed the broken pieces of a clay disk and pieced it back together to reveal images portraying what life was like for the disk's creators.
