Music:
Arapahoe Charter School offers a K-4 Grade music class where students can expect to learn about music from all over the world, the instruments of the band and orchestra, hear live music, play instruments, experiment with rhythms and melodies, and participate in fun group activities.
Band:
ACS students may start band as early as 4th Grade and it is offered to any interested students in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th Grader. Students may select any conventional band instrument including the following:

Euphonium/Baritone*
Trombone
Trumpet
Tuba (5th Grade & up)*

Percussion:
Snare Drum
Bass Drum
Bells

Woodwind:
Flute
Clarinet
Alto or Tenor Saxophone
Bassoon*
Oboe*

String Instruments:
Electric Bass or Double Bass

*The school does not own these instruments students that are interested these instruments need to make private arrangements to rent or purchase the items.
