Volunteers help unload supplies from Vance Charter School

In 1998, organizers of the now successful Vance Charter School in Henderson, NC were hard at work creating its charter - a daunting task. Help was needed.

Nearly 200 miles to the east, the fledging Arapahoe Charter School was just a tad over a year old and happy to share their charter writing experience with Vance’s organizers.

Twenty years later, Vance Charter School said thank you again by collecting supplies and delivering them to ACS for distribution to victims of Hurricane Florence - a gift very much appreciated.
