Required Forms:
All ACS students who are interested in trying out for a sports team MUST submit the following paperwork:
1. Student-Athlete Participation Packet;
2. Athletics Student Pick Up Liability Form;
3. NCHSAA Medical Exam Form – Participation Physical Exam is required for participation
There are two: PPE English and PPE Spanish;
4. Gfeller-Waller NCHSAA Student-Athlete & Parent/Legal Custodian Concussion Statement Form.
At ACS clubs are chosen based on student interest. During the first month of the school students can drum up interest for a club they wish to see and then all they have to do is find a teacher to sponsor it. For that reason, club offerings change every single year. Below is a list of clubs offered in the 2024-2025 school year.

Middle and High School Students have the opportunity to participate in several student organizations. Student organizations are an important part of developing leadership skills and building a strong resume. Students must apply and meet certain criteria to be inducted into a student organization. Current ACS Student Organizations are:
